September is here and the children are back at school, but that doesn’t mean learning has to stay inside the classroom. Sometimes, a single question about tigers, pandas or dinosaurs is enough to spark a child’s curiosity. And when they don’t just hear an interesting fact but actually see it come to life before their eyes, their interest grows naturally. At Hologram Zoo Sofia, this is exactly what turns every encounter with the animal world into an opportunity for more questions and new discoveries.

This month also brings a small change to Hologram Zoo Sofia - we’ll soon be saying goodbye to one of our holographic experiences to make room for something new.

Can One Adventure Spark Curiosity?

Why do tigers have stripes? What do pandas actually eat? What is the only mythical creature in the Chinese zodiac? And what did the world look like when dinosaurs roamed the Earth?

Children will discover the answers to these and many more questions during our holographic experiences - without ever feeling like they’re being tested or sitting through another lesson.

At Hologram Zoo Sofia, fascinating facts come together with holographic images and highly realistic sound effects. Animals appear right before your eyes, the surroundings change around you, and every new moment brings something different to discover.

During the experience, children will find themselves surrounded by different animals and natural landscapes, with each new scene taking them somewhere new. They’ll come face to face with pandas and tigers, explore the wildlife of the African savannah, and with “Dinosaurs”, travel millions of years back in time. Every encounter gives them a reason to learn something new about the animals they have just seen.

From Asia to Africa in a Single Afternoon

At Hologram Zoo Sofia, you can currently choose between two main holographic experiences - “Asia” and “Africa”. Both give children the chance to encounter animals and discover places that would otherwise be thousands of kilometres away.

In Asia you’ll meet pandas, tigers, cranes and koi fish, wander through bamboo forests and discover some of the animals of the Chinese zodiac. Along the way, you’ll encounter Japanese temples, monkeys, cherry blossoms and plenty of other details that turn this journey through the Far East into a true adventure.

But if you haven’t experienced “Asia” yet, don’t wait too long - the experience will soon be leaving Hologram Zoo Sofia. These are your final weeks to immerse yourself in the magic of the Far East.

And if your little ones prefer lions, giraffes and elephants, AfricaThere, zebras, hippos and meerkats await, while the vast African savannah is also home to majestic elephants and lions.

If the animals of today aren’t enough, you can also add Dinosaurs.It’s important to know that this is an additional holographic experience and cannot be booked separately. You can enjoy it as part of the “Asia + Dinosaurs” or Africa + Dinosaurs” package..

So, after meeting pandas or lions, it’s time to encounter creatures from a completely different era.

And if your child can tell a Tyrannosaurus rex from a Triceratops faster than you can pronounce their names, you probably already know whether you should add “Dinosaurs” to your visit.

A Weekend Adventure That Adults Will Enjoy Too

At Hologram Zoo Sofia, the fun is for the whole family. The experiences are designed for both children and parents, so everyone can be part of the adventure together. There are no heavy or uncomfortable VR headsets here. The holographic experience uses lightweight, comfortable special glasses that are part of the technology behind Hologram Zoo Sofia and allow you to see the three-dimensional images without losing connection with the people around you.
